Ukiyo-e Layer Stamp on Display at Museum Rietberg, Switzerland

Ukiyo-e Layer Stamps have been installed in the event "Japan de Luxe - The Art of Surimono prints" being held at the Museum Rietberg, Switzerland. The event runs until July 12th, 2026.

  • Introduction to Surimono, a vibrant form of Japanese woodblock print, and an interactive Ukiyo-e Layer Stamp display at the Museum Rietberg.

At the exhibition, it showcases surimono, a distinctive form of Japanese colour woodblock print that emerged between the late 18th and mid-19th centuries. Ukiyo-e Layer Stamps have been installed so that visitors could experience the printing process of Japanese woodblock prints.

They have extremely been welcomed by visitors.
